Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certificate
Computer technology has become pervasive in our daily lives, yet user interfaces still must be understandable by humans. The Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certificate gives students the skills and knowledge they need to work in this evolving environment including the web, mobile devices and software.
This certificate program, designed in cooperation with industry experts, provides those involved in the design of human-computer interactions with the knowledge and skills they will need to create new and better ways for people to communicate with and through computers.
This 4-course (12 credit hour) graduate HCI certificate may be earned on a non-matriculating basis or as part of one of C&M's graduate degree programs. Up to 12 credit hours taken on a non-matriculating basis may be applied towards a graduate degree at Rensselaer.
